Angella Cancer Treatment Fund

Hello Everyone,
We the Bennett Family is writing on behalf of our dear sister Angella Bennett to ask you all for your help. In April of 2020 our dear sister Angella Bennett was diagnosis with Stage 1B Endometrial cancer. Endometrial cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the endometrium and begins in Uterus. Angella is a loving Sister, Aunt and a friend to many. She lost her only child Jehu Campbell in a tragic way. Angella has always been a strong pillar for our family, and she is adored by all that know her. She is of strong Seventh Day Adventist faith and is a long serving member to the church and community development.
Upon learning her diagnostics Angella embarked on a naturopathic approach in the treatment of her cancer for a duration of one (1) year. During this period, she continued to experience the symptoms and signs of the presence of the cancer and so she had to seek medical intervention. She performed the full hysterectomy surgery to remove her uterus which was a success, the doctors went further with her treatment. She did Chemotherapy in February- June of 2022 a total of 6 sessions and then finally Radiotherapy in January of 2023 a total of 10 sessions.
After all these different methods of treatment the doctors gave her some very devastating news following a scan, she was told that the cancer had metastasized (travelled) to her lung. Angella was given a life expectancy of two years with the only treatment option offered is to undergo additional chemotherapy. There is a treatment facility in Mandeville Jamaica that Angella has had a positive meeting with the doctors there. Unfortunately, this will come with huge costs, from the treatment itself, tests and to all other associated costs with boarding & expenses.
Angella’s bravery and strength of character has been nothing short of amazing throughout this whole journey and she continues to inspire us and make us so proud of her every day. We have set this fundraiser up to allow Angella to receive much needed treatment and give her as much time as possible to enjoy her beautiful life. Her wish is to continue fighting her cancer to be around to see as many milestones in hers’ and her family lives.

We as a family thank you for your kindness and generosity in helping to relieve the financial burden from Angella.

We will continue to update you on Angella’s journey and progress.
