Angels for Isabelle (and Elliott)
Donation protected
I am asking every one of you sees this message to find it in your hearts to make a donation of any size to help my niece and nephew as they endure the most difficult time they have experienced in their young lives.
Their 2 year old daughter, Isabelle, is battling kidney cancer that has already spread to her lungs. Isabelle has already had one of her kidneys removed, and began weekly chemo treatments about a month ago that are supposed to continue for 7 months. Unfortunately, her lungs aren't responding to treatment as well as the doctors had hoped and she will need to switch to an in-patient, 5-day per week chemo regiment along with radiation treatments, which begin next week. In addition to the cancer, Isabelle also suffers from Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome which causes her body to grow at a much faster rate than her developmental skills are able to keep up with right now.
As if this isn't already a nightmare for her parents, they are also caring for their 3 1/2 year old autistic son, Elliott. Elliott needs to attend a special school which is outrageously expensive.
At the time of the cancer diagnosis, my niece and nephew also learned that the home they are currently renting is being sold, and they have to move out by March. Luckily they have family to stay with. They also learned that they are unable to collect long term disability from their jobs; and the Family Leave Act they could use is completely unpaid.
My niece and nephew desperately need your help in the form of prayers, and, financially. All they want is to be able to take care of their children's needs. For Isabelle to win her cancer battle, Elliott to be able to remain in his special needs school where he is doing so well, and one day, to once again have their own home.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
