Angels Halo

Hello everyone, my name is Julliza, but this is not about me. This is about my little brother, Angel Thomas. So, in order for you to understand why me and my family are asking for help, you have to know his story, his life up until this point. My little brother Angel tragically got struck by a van on November 18, 2009, at the age of 17 years old. His accident left him with injuries that no doctor could fix. My brother became disabled, needing a brain shunt, feeding tube, colostomy bag, and a tracheostomy. My mother, myself, and older brother Victor, along with the rest of my family, have been making sure he has been given nothing but love while being provided for. With that being said, my mother was making sure Angel would have everything he would need for when his time came to be called home; there would be no need to worry. But unfortunately, our mother passed away on February 19, 2016, before getting a chance to finalize her paperwork so our family wouldn’t have to endure the hardship of doing this on our own.

I am a very prideful person that doesn’t like to ask for help, but I’m asking today if you can, please help me and my family finish what our mother started. Anything would help. I’ve always been my brother’s keeper, his protector, and knowing I couldn’t protect him from this is tearing me apart. Even though the doctor told us long ago that one day his body would eventually give up on him, my brother was brave, strong, and a fighter. He gave us almost 15 years, and he did all the fighting he could do, and yet he was still holding on and refused to let go until we reassured him it was OK to let go. I know our mother was there waiting to greet him home.
