Angels and Rainbows is a community group set up by Justine Maher a local mum who herself has devastatingly experienced two losses. A baby boy born at 24 weeks with Bilateral renal agenesis (BRA) - absence of both kidneys, who unfortunately didn't survive and a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks.
"I found myself looking for support but realised there was nobody to offer support in my local town of Lowestoft. I decided to set up my own support group to help other women and their families that have experienced a loss".
"My group has over 80 members and over time I have realised that more support is needed to help these families to try and get some normality back into their lives."
"The waiting list for counselling is 5 months which is not good enough for those that desperately need the help now."
The money raised will go towards counselling sessions plus marketing materials such as flyers, t.shirts and a website to help spread the word about the group because we know that there are many more families that will need our help.
Every little helps so any money that you can give will be greatly received.
