Angie Becker

Hi, my name is Karlee and I am fundraising on behalf of Angela Becker and the Becker family. Last Thursday, Angie was experiencing loss of vision in her left eye. The next day, she went to the hospital and found out she was having a stroke. She was immediately transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. They performed surgery and thought they had found the root of the problem. The following night, she suffered a spinal hemorrhage which resulted in paralysis, aside from her left arm. She is able to see and hear, but unable to talk. A recent MRI showed that the swelling in her brain is worsening. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit with her family by her side.

Anyone who knows Angie can attest to her kindness and compassion. She is a loving wife of Kris Becker and a mother of two boys: Nick and Doug. She is a daughter of Kathy Piltaver and a sister of Brenda Krogulski-Booker, Wade Piltaver, and Christa Krogulski-Lawson. She is also a gracious, 2nd grade teacher at Holy Family Grade School in Oglesby. The funds raised will go toward traveling expenses and medical bills during this challenging time.
