On Tuesday February 3, 2015 heaven gained a new angel. The vibrant and lively soul that was Angie Carrasco influenced the lives of so many people. Through her warming, motherly advice, and compassionate acts of volunteering, it was obvious that she cared very much for the well-being of others.
Even with her diagnosis of Primary Pulminary Hypertension, a terminal disease that as of right now has no cure, and congestive right heart failure, she never hestitated to put others before herself. Angie was an organ donor and has blessed four families with a better life. Skin to a nine month old baby who was in a fire accident. Bone barrow to a cancer patient who will now be able to walk again after therapy. She blessed an eye cancer patient with vision by donating her eye corneas. And although the right side of her heart was failing, she was still able to bless a patient who needed a left side heart transplant that had been on the transplant list for over 10 years. Angie was on this transplant list for approximately 11 years.
This strong woman knew that god would call for her one day and she wanted to bless anyone in need with her organs when that day came. The day came and she succeeded. We, the Carrasco family, are asking reaching out for support. Thank you for taking the time to read this donation page.
