Help us preserve Anguilla’s Boat Racing Tradition!

Imagine a young Anguillian child, hands steady on the tiller, eyes wide with determination, carrying forward centuries of maritime tradition. At the Anguilla Youth Sailing Club (AYSC), this dream comes alive every day.
For over 20 years, the AYSC has empowered more than 1,000 young sailors with life skills like leadership, teamwork, and resilience—all while preserving our National Sport of boat racing. Many of our students have gone on to captain Anguilla’s fastest racing boats or pursue careers in the maritime industry, carrying forward a legacy that defines who we are as a people.
But today, we need your help.
Our Goal: Raise $219,000 to Secure AYSC’s Future
-A New Fleet of Boats: $66,700
Replace our aging fleet with 10 racing dinghies to keep our programs safe and prepare Anguilla’s youth for local and international regattas.
-Sailing Scholarships: $64,400
Provide scholarships for 20 students per month over three years, ensuring no child is left out of our after-school classes or camps due to financial constraints.
-Operating Budget: $87,500
Cover essential expenses for three years, allowing us to continue transforming young lives through sailing.
Why We Need Your Support
Boat racing isn’t just a sport for Anguillians—it’s the heart of our culture. It’s where we find pride, community, and connection to our ancestors. Without your help, this vibrant tradition risks being lost.
Your contribution will:
-Rebuild our fleet.
-Sustain scholarships for deserving children.
-Keep Anguilla’s National Sport alive for future generations.
