Angus and his fight for life

Meet Angus
He is a sweetheart of a dog who greets everyone with the happiest and most loving energy. His owners are my closest friends they are like family to me which is why I'm reaching out on their behalf. Angus has recieved multiple blood transfusions after finding out on Tuesday that he has an auto immune issue that has caused his system to attack itself.
At first his owners Duncan and Kim were given tough odds of Angus' chances but he is family so they took the risk and at my last calculation it has totalled a still rising amount currently just under $6000 already spent. I reached out to find more large dogs to donate blood as there is a shortage in the province.
Since the start of this Angus has improved and his chances have also improved but he is not yet out of the woods.
the second transfusion brought him up to 29 red blood cell count and 6 platelets on the slide. (It works out to being 120 of 200 that he is needing so he's doing alot better. )Not out of the wood yet they want to see his red blood cell count to be 37 . An platelets 200 but he is improving
We will be trying to organize a large dog blood drive once we get info from the vet on how to register the volunteers who have come forward.
Each transfusion is close to $ 1000 and these two have been there for me in so many ways and would never ask for help so I'm doing it for them. If you can spare anything to help the cost associated with this it has come close to depleting their savings and I want to do what I can to help .
Every bit counts please.
