Anima Youth Cost of Living Crisis Campaign

Young People from marginalised and disadvantaged backgrounds in London are one of the most affected groups being crippled by the cost of living crisis.

We have had several of our young people tell us about their situations, one that stood out recently was

"honestly my period pads or even a warm coat for the cold weather and our cold house is the least of my mum's problems when she's a single parent trying to work as hard as possible to keep up with the increased bills and feed me and my other brothers and sisters... I don't blame her and also do not want to add the pressure"

We currently support over 500 young people across our Projects, 90% of them being female.

As an organisation, we are reaching out, though we know times are hard for most people, if you are in a position to donate £15, this would provide ONE young person with TWO MONTHS worth of period projects, and other essential well-being and hygiene items

During the pandemic, we raised enough money through GoFundMe to deliver 420 Wellbeing & Sanitary boxes (check out our website for all the pictures!).

Please help us double the amount to 840!
