ANIMAL LOVER BRUTALLY MURDERED

Lauren Johansen was an amazing young woman. She was going to become a RN next year and then become a Nurse Practioner. She was smart, kind, loving, and would do anything to help animals, her family, or anyone who needed help.

Everyone she ever met loved her immediately and she brought a smile on everyone’s face. She was the mother to her brothers Kylar, Christian, sister Katelyn and her own mother. Lauren was a victim of Battered Woman’s Syndrome and was brutally beaten to death by her psychopath abuser. She was a regular volunteer at multiple animal shelters and rescued many animals. She took her dog Bentley Jo and cat Marley everywhere she went. She would have brought her rescue horse Cocoa with her if he had fit in her Jeep.. Lauren cared for her siblings who were born premature and have many disabilities. When her mom who is a RN couldn’t work or take care of them anymore, Lauren helped me care for them. She was kidnapped and badly beaten and almost died in December. Her abuser (Bricen Rivers)was put in jail. I told the court, the DA, and the judge he would kill her if they let him out. Bricen told others he was going to kill her too. A high bond of 251,000 was placed. Restraining orders filed if he escaped. Lauren and I were supposed to be notified of any court proceedings or if he was released for any reason. The felony conviction for this crime may have been a life sentence and trial was supposed to be in next 2 months. After 7 months in Jail a judge Cheryl Blackburn in Nashville, TN reduced bail to 150,000 and his mom paid 15,000 to bail him out. The jail released him after hours without the court ordered ankle monitor. He was let loose onto the street. He was set free last Friday June 28th. Early Tuesday morning Katelyn found the front door open and Bentley Jo, Marley, and 3 shelter cats were in the front yard and Lauren was gone. A security camera ripped off the house. Her life 360 was cut off at 4:01 am. We reported her missing to police 2 seperate times and I called and talked to anyone and everyone who would listen and help me find her. The next day we found her car and Bricen ran from the car as the police arrived. In the back of the car was Lauren. She was brutally beaten to death. He made her suffer and beat her until her eyes were swollen shut. Her head was caved in where he beat her with a pistol like he did before. She was mutilated. When Lauren almost died last time she told me the following:

” If he gets out and kills me please find a way to take care of Bentley Jo, Marley, Cocoa, Mercy, Christian, Katelyn, Kylar and mom.”. Please , for the love of God, help us fulfill Lauren’s final wishes ❤️
