Animal Rescue Medical Funds are Critically Low

Donations to our 100% volunteer ran non-profit are down 60% so far this year. There are several contributing factors. Meta removed our donations button (which we have spent countless hours trying to restore for MONTHS), we are down active Volunteers so we are not receiving as much exposure as before because our hand full of active volunteers are spread so thin with balancing their work/volunteer lives that they are practically see through, and the economy (believe us we understand because it is affecting our personal lives too).

With that said we are only able to take in as many animals as we can financially afford to cover their basic and medical needs. In short... we DESPIRATELY need our beautiful communities help to keep us afloat...

More information about Umbrella of Hope: Our all-volunteer team focuses on senior, special needs, medically needy, hospice and shy/plain dogs, cats and other animals in shelters in the Greater Bay Area and Sacramento Areas of CA that are less likely to make it out of the shelters.

100% of donations go directly towards the care (medical, food, supplies) of the animals in our rescue. Not a single volunteer is paid. We all do this out of the kindness of our hearts and love for these animals that deserve so much better than the cards they have been dealt. Not a single donation is too small. EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR COUNTS and could potentially save a life.
