Animal Rescuer in need of a new “rescue mobile”

With this help over 100 dogs and cats have been helped off the streets and/or received medical care, as transport was made possible. I am tremendously grateful for the support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my volunteer work! ❤️

If any further contribution gifts where to be made, they would they put towards maintenance of the car (4 new tires are needed), gas money for rescue searches, and rescue supplies…

Hi, my name is Ronnie Krokdal, I’m an independent animal “street rescuer” in Los Angeles in need of a new vehicle to do my rescue volunteer work. I often save animals late at night in dangerous areas, who often are injured, and my old car is no longer reliable. I am seeking to buy a car that will fit a crate in the back, and won’t break down late at night in SkidRow, or leave me stranded on a hot day in the High Desert with animals in the back.

I’m looking for a 2014-2015 Toyota Rav4 or Honda CRV, with hopefully less than 40,000-50,000 miles. With used cars currently costing 25% more than they used to, a few of my followers suggested I’d set up a gofundne campaign. I’m also seeking to connect with a Toyota/Honda/Subaru dealer, who might be willing to support the cause by giving a good deal.

If any extra money is raised it will be used towards medical care, food, suppliers etc for the animals I rescue.

I have local rescue organizations place the animals I save for their future safety, however, it often takes time to find a rescue willing/able to step up. Therefore I often need to provide surgeries and other medical care, food and medicines for longer periods of time before other help is found.
