Equestrian Spirits is a 501(c)(3) non profit public charity, dedicated to providing a permanent home for animals. Our animals are allowed to live out their lives among friends, in peace and security.
Thanks to a few dedicated and generous people, the animals at Equestrian Spirits Inc. have a chance at a permanent facility owned by the non profit! For the last several years we have been renting property or residing on farms that were temporarily donated. Circumstances required numerous moves which were unsettling, expensive, and stressful.
In June of 2017 we were given an opportunity to purchase a lovely farm and promptly relocated our entire animal family! With all the wonderful changes this year, we now have a huge balloon payment looming before us.
By June we need $100,000 and in 3 years another $350,000 to finally secure the dream of our forever home. We desperately need to raise enough money to do this. If we do not, we will need to relocate yet another time. Each move costs a minimum of $10-20,000.
Our situation is grim without enough funds. Once we own our own property outright we can apply for grants and proceed with improvements as we remodel a working goat farm into a sanctuary.
It costs thousands of dollars a week just to maintain the quality of care we provide. Laurie and her volunteers work tirelessly to keep everything together. These animals deserve a decent life and your help would be greatly appreciated.

What a blessing to have our very own facility to permanently insure the health and well being of all; they are amazing, 38 horses, 5 donkeys, cats, dogs, rabbits and fowl now have a lovely haven to spend their lives in comfort and safety; away from the threats that have haunted too many; as long as our 2018 payment is met. We depend on your generosity to fulfill the dream. Please Help!
If we are fortunate enough to raise more money than is necessary for purchase, all funds will go to supporting these lovely animals and improving the facility. Our board of directors are volunteers, therefore receive no salaries, so all monies go to assist our animals’ needs.
