The animals of Lembata island in Indonesia need your help!!

Hi everyone

We are Taman Daun, a community on a small island in Indonesia, and we are trying to help the people here as much as we can.

Thanks to a group of local and international volunteers, we are running several projects on the island to improve living conditions and help our community grow . For example, we teach English to children with the help of international volunteers, we build houses for people in need, and we have a coral and ocean preservation program.

Today, we are launching a new project to help animals, especially dogs and cats, who are in poor conditions. In Lembata, there are a lot of stray dogs and cats and these poor pet carry many diseases as mange, ringworm, fleas or even worse like rabies. These deseases are very contagious to other animals and humans.

Our goal is to care for dogs and cats to prevent the spread of viruses and to stop the rapid increase of strays by neutering and sterilising dogs and cats.

Our actions will improve the overall well-being of the island, for animals and people alike.

We are in contact with an NGO that could help us, for example, by sending a vet to the island, but first we need to raise funds. So today we would like to ask your help to run our project, buy treatments, and save the animals.
