Animals Lebanon Emergency Appeal

Tax deductible

The Last Animals Foundation 501(c)3 is raising funds for our fiscally sponsored organization, Animals Lebanon, during this time of crisis and conflict. A donation of any size will make an immediate impact in aiding Animals Lebanon in rescuing and caring for the animals affected by the ongoing war. Contributions made in the United States are tax deductible.

Since October 2023, Animals Lebanon has dealt with the devastating effects of war. Over the past ten months of fear, uncertainty, and suffering, Animals Lebanon’s dedicated staff and volunteers have helped hundreds of people leave the country with their pets and continue to provide food for dogs and cats in abandoned villages along the border.

Embassies are now calling on their citizens to urgently leave the country. Airlines have reduced their flights, and even stopped flights to Lebanon. There is constant talk of escalation and the potential for all-out war and attacks on Beirut.

Since 2019, Animals Lebanon has overcome the economic crisis, nationwide protests, government collapse, COVID, and the Beirut explosion. No matter how great the challenge, Animals Lebanon is able to provide critical care.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to ensure Animals Lebanon can overcome the immediate crisis of the war. This will provide three-months of stock of food, medication, and supplies. Most of these products are imported and there is limited supply. It will also enable Animals Lebanon to continue to feed homeless or abandoned cats and dogs in the areas most affected by the war.

In these Animals Lebanon instagram posts, you can see their incredible work helping starving animals impacted by war.

Animals Lebanon is the most recognized animal welfare organization in the Middle East and the only organization working on animal welfare in Lebanon. The charity has been awarded for the breadth and impact of its work: joining international conventions, fighting the trafficking of endangered species, closing zoos and circuses, rescuing thousands of animals, and responding annually to tens of thousands of requests for help. Animals Lebanon also drafted the Animal Protection and Welfare Law which came into force in 2017 and effectively campaigned for Lebanon to become a party to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.
