Animals Surviving Structure Fires Vet Care

Hello everyone, I am firefighter for Covington. We pride ourselves in providing the best possible medical and fire care coverage. We provide all the services needed to care for humans involved in structure fires but not for our furry 4 legged family members. We can provide them with high Oxgenation with special mask we now carry but it is crucial for them to get vet care for burns, high levels of CO, and often follows pneumonia. Unfortunately right now we cant provide that to our fury kids on-site so we are fundraising to help with vet bills to those who need such services.

Meet Buea and Tay Tay, two 12 week old Akita puppys who we pulled from a house fire a few days ago. They had melted plastic burnt to their backsides, desperately gasping to breathe, laying lifeless when we got them outside. The amazing firefighters went to work providing what services we could on scene. The two pups got to an open 24 hr vet for services that was not cheap and racked up quite a bill. This money will go to help pay for the emergency services the two pups received. Anything over and above will go to a charitable fund that is strictly going to be used for animals who have been through traggic events as Buea and Tay Tay.

Enduring a tragic event is hard enough much less trying to figure out how to pay for massive vet bills to save you 4 legged families life. Many animals die afterwards because the family cant afford these types of bills. Lets all be heros and make that difference in someone's life when they needed the most.
