Anishinabeg Clan Council and Warrior Gathering

Donation protected
A Gathering is being organized for the Anishinabeg of the Five Council Fire Belt (Eagle, Catfish, Caribou, Beaver, Sturgeon, Crane) Head Clans and whose Territories are (Credit River, Lake Simcoe and Couchiching, Penetanguishene, Manitoulin, Bawating) and invite other Grassroots Relatives; Indigenous Nationalists, Ogitchida, Water Protectors, Land Defenders, Spiritual People and those of Sovereign Mind.

This is being organized by ACTION - Anishinaabek Clans to Invoke our Nation www.anishinaabek.com A forming collective of this initiative. This Gathering is intended to identify Leadership, Hereditary Chiefs lineage, Clan Mothers, Council Fires, rekindle our Ogitchida Warrior Society, seek Organizers for this Collective and most importantly develop a Charter and Constitution to establish a Non-Profit for our Organization so we organize more effectively in our efforts, seek grants and to be accountable.

In 2019 a group from our Communities rallied at the Union of Ontario to meet with the Grand Council and to smoke Pipe and speak on the UOI's Anishinabek Governance Agreement. https://northernontario.ctvnews.ca/protesters-hold-rally-to-stop-the-anishinabek-governance-agreement-1.4800759?cache=yes%3FclipId%3D375756%3FcontactForm%3Dtrue

Former Grand Chief of the AFN/National Indian Brotherhood, Del Riley from Chippewas of the Thames stood with us and we were denied at the last minute from these so called Leaders. We were successful in defeating this Self Termination Agreement in majority of our Communities however we need to organize more strongly as the efforts to create us as municipalities and exterminate our inherent rights and lands is moving faster the more agreements and settlements our people are accepting with Canada and Ontario.

We need to organize and separate from the current Indian Act Chief and Council and their Orgs and advocate and represent ourselves as Clans who have the legitimate title to our rights and lands. We need to be united as a organization to advocate for those in our communities also whos are being bullied and rights violated by these Indian Act colonial Bands. We need to build an Organization to do this.

We plan on having the gathering sometime between January and February in so called Tiny Township, at the host community Territory of the Council Fire of the Otter/Beaver Clan. We need to raise funds to secure Wildfire Lodge an Outfitters Venue https://www.facebook.com/WildfireLodge which can accommodate our needs which includes rooms for an estimated 40 People.
