Hello, my name is Thais. I have started this go fund me in an attempt to help raise funds for my sweet niece Ashley and her partner Sam. Sam and his young family have very suddenly and recently suffered a huge loss.

On Tuesday the 25th his mother Anita very suddenly and without warning collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital but they have been informed she will not pull through. They were told she suffered an acute asthma attack, causing her lungs to collapse and not able to expand. She had no oxygen to her brain for 20 minutes while awaiting paramedics. Anita being the person she was has chosen to be an organ donor and that is what is being sorted as of now.

Anita was a huge and important part of Sam and Ashley’s young family. She contributed with love and support as well as being a part of their family team to financially support each other during these difficult times. She provided full childcare to their children and her grandchildren. Azeyla 4 years old and Loxley 4 months old. You can see the pure love she had for her grand babies by the look on her face in the above picture holding little Loxley.

In Sam’s own words

“My mom has been living with us for a long time now. We are in the process of moving. She’s been helping us with everything, Being the loving and caring woman she was! She is part of the back bone of our family and was vital to our entire eco system. ”

The funds that we can raise will go towards a few important things.

Anita’s final expenses (cremation) and celebration of life. Final bills and to help ease the transition for unexpected childcare expenses as Sam and Ashley adjust to this huge loss and find their way forward without Anita. The main purpose for this is so that Sam can lay his mother to rest in a respectful and dignified way that she deserves.

Anything will help and all is appreciated. Even if you cannot donate please just keep them in your hearts and send love. This young family is going through a lot.

There will be a celebration of life for friends and family. The date has yet to be set but will be shared as soon as more is known.
