Annie Jimenez - Arachnoid Brain Tumor

This fundraiser was designed to assist Annie and her family during this time of difficulty.
Our beloved Annie knew something was wrong back in 2006 when she started experiencing symptoms of seizures and migraines. Because of her symptoms, the doctor ordered an MRI; however, she was told they didn't see anything. She dealt with years and years of minor symptoms with no diagnoses. Annie graduated from nursing school, and as she pursued her career in the nursing field helping patients with various brain injuries she knew there was still something wrong.
Fast Forward to May 1, 2020 her symptoms started becoming more aggressive and after visiting a new doctor she ordered an MRI and found an Arachnoid Brain Tumor 36 mm (equivalent to the size of a half dollar) and referred Annie to a Neurologist to schedule surgery. The Neurologist compared her 2006 MRI and could clearly see the beginning of the tumor way back then. It is so frustrating that she endured this for almost 14 years.
Annie will need to undergo brain surgery in her right frontal lobe in a few days. She is the main financial provider for her family. Leading up to this day she has exhausted all her sick leave time from work which enables her to pay her household rent, bills and food. Not to mention medical bills associated with this emergency medical situation. If you can find it in your hearts to make a donation of any size, we would be extremely appreciative and grateful. The goal is to help lighten the load by eliminating the financial burden as much as possible.
Annie is very loving, caring and compassionate. Many have experienced she is always ready and willing to help others. Today she needs our help.
