On the morning of February 3, 2020, Anita K. Acosta, 50, was on her way home from the grocery store in Federal Way when she was hit head-on and killed by a truck driver who lost control of his dump trailer. Anita leaves behind her husband Ronald of 30 years, and her son, Alec (age 13). Anita was a loving wife and doting mother. Her passing has deeply affected her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Anita was an amazingly caring woman who put 100% into everything she did. She was an active member of Calvary Community Church, Alec’s school, and the Milton community. Anita was loved by many and adored by those who truly knew her.
We have created this page to assist Anita’s family in transitioning into a life without her.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, support, and generosity during this difficult time. They are comforted in knowing that Anita is walking with the Lord and shining down upon them.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Community Church in Sumner, Washington. We ask those who cannot attend the celebration to think of Anita's family so that we may combine our love and appreciation of her.
