Hi, my name is Susy and I am fundraising for my mom, Anita.

My mom has vascular dementia, but last Friday she suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. She was in the hospital for a few days. She needs 24-hour care for a couple of weeks as she’s not able to move or eat on her own, an ambulance service to take her to doctor’s appointments, physical therapy, and a hospital bed so she’s more comfortable at home.

My sister, nieces, and I have been covering medical costs for my mom, but also for my dad who suffered a stroke earlier in the year.
