In Memory of my Mother, Anita Samuel

My loving mother, lost her battle to cancer at the age of 65. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2019 and fully recovered, but her cancer came back in the form of AML this time, and she lost her battle on the 24th of February 2024, whilst I was by her side. Her final farewell will be held on the 25th of March, 2024.

My mother was a very strong and independent woman. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone around her. She was a pillar of strength and support to our family. Her innocent and beautiful smile will be missed by everyone.

It’s been very overwhelming for us to manage the funeral costs as I only work part-time in retail and can barely manage the bills with my income. Her sudden death has shaken us all, and we're struggling to accept that she's not with us anymore.

My family has been through a lot emotionally and financially since she first got ill. My siblings who didn’t get the chance to see our mum while she was alive are now flying from abroad to attend the funeral. My family would be grateful if you all could keep us and my mother in your prayers.
