Anita's Trip for Hope

Greetings.

My name is Anita from Denver, Colorado.

On January 4th of this year I was told I had breast cancer.

After a few more appointments with Drs, I was also told it was early stage. Soon after, I had a lumpectomy on April 27th and after two surgeries, I was told by my Drs that the cancer tumors were removed and that my surgery was a success.

With this news and three months later, I began the steps towards radiation treatment. During the CT scans the radiation Dr noticed a mass and he was concerned. Mind you, I was just told that my surgery area was clear and good to go for some radiation treatments.

After further probing and a biopsy my Dr ordered a body scan. On Oct. 6 of this month

I was now told that I have cancer in my bones and lungs.

They overlooked this the entire time. At this point, me and my family are worried with my quality of care.

I am looking for some doors to open and guide me to the right Drs. Im hoping to get to cancer centers such as MD Anderson in Houston or alternative holistic treatment centers in Honduras or Mexico that have proven to have healed others with similar diagnosis.

If I can raise enough funds, I could consider these places as a possibility. I need serious opinions from highly recommended facilities. Raising funds could offer me some options so that I may afford my travel cost and still pay my bills at home. I would be missing work and these funds would offer me some relief so I can focus solely on getting the medical help I need.

It's challenging to face these ups and downs while trying to remain calm and positive but raising these funds will be one more positive thing in my life.
