Aniya Brown-Soyster

Tragedy has struck one of our own at Providence. One of our beloved caregivers, Jonathan Soyster, received news that no parent should ever have to hear. He unexpectedly lost his beautiful and vibrant 23-year-old daughter, Aniya, who was 8 months pregnant with her first child and his first grandbaby, Annetta. The unexpected loss of Aniya and Annetta has left everyone in shock and grief.
Aniya took after the family by caring for others as a CNA. Her favorite things were fishing, hiking, camping, and animals (especially horses). Jonhathan describes her as “a good daughter and a beautiful person who was very close to her friends and loved ones.”
As Jonathan and his family come together to cope with this immense tragedy, they are faced with the daunting task of arranging a proper funeral and memorial service to honor Aniya and Annetta's life and memory. As a close-knit team, we've always come together to support each other during challenging times. Today, I am asking for your help in rallying around Jonathan and providing him and his family with some relief during this difficult period.
Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards helping Jonathan cover the expenses of the funeral. Your generosity and support are incredibly valued and will make a significant difference in his life during this challenging time.
Thank you for in advance for coming together to help.
