Anjali Chokshi's Eagle Scout Project

My name is Anjali Chokshi. I am a Life Scout with Troop 172G in Warrington, Pennsylvania and working on my Eagle Scout project. I joined the troop as a founding member in 2019 and have grown tremendously since that time. Scouting has exposed me to so many new and different experiences. It has nurtured confidence, and helped me discover an inner courage.

One of the first steps in my journey towards Eagle is raising funds for my project - the construction of a rain garden in the Churchville Nature Center and a bench near the garden to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The rain garden is needed at the site location to direct and collect rainwater that presently floods walkways. Funds raised through this effort will be used to purchase needed materials, including stones, sand, native plants, and wood.

I plan on carrying out my project end of May/early June.

The Churchville Nature Center has served Bucks County since 1964 and is an amazing place. I first visited the center when I was in preschool and have fond memories of that trip with my class. I’ve also recently volunteered at the center through my high school. I would love to make a lasting contribution to the center and help other kids explore and learn about the wonder of everyday nature! So please help me in building a beautiful addition to the Churchville Nature Center

Any raised funds not used for my project will be donated to the Churchville Nature Center for their work in our community!
