Ann Arbor Civic Chorus 40th Anniversary
Donation protected
Founded in 1983, the Ann Arbor Civic Chorus has provided a musical home for hundreds of singers, who have shared their talent and enthusiasm with the community via free concerts and other free performances, collaborations (with the Ann Arbor Civic Theater, the Saline New Horizons Band, Washtenaw County Out Loud Chorus, and singer-songwriter Judy Collins, among others), radio appearances, community sings, and trips to Chicago and Germany to perform. To celebrate our fortieth anniversary, we’ve commissioned a new choral piece centered on a theme of community, with music by acclaimed composer Stacey V. Gibbs and lyrics by renowned poet Jacqueline Suskin, both of Detroit. Join the celebration! Donate to help fund this dynamic piece.
**A generous donor has offered to match the first $1500 we raise. Help us to meet our first goal of $1500!
