Ann Baker’s Medical expenses

My name is Avery, and I’m setting up a fundraiser for my mother, who has recently been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder affecting many joints, including those in the hands and feet. Basically, it makes the body's immune system attack its own tissue and joints. In severe cases, it attacks internal organs. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a crippling and devastating lifelong disease and effective treatment of the disease itself, rather than symptom treatment, is extremely expensive.

My mom is a do-it-yourself, use-your-hands, down-in-the-dirt, kind of woman. A diagnosis that primarily effects the ability to move is especially devastating for a person like my mother. She's a hard worker and always gets the job done, whatever the task is. She has worked for Walmart for the last 13 years and lives within her means. She does whatever extra she can to support her kids. Her kids have always come first. That's why we, my brother and I, will do whatever it takes to make sure my mother remains healthy and pain-free.

When my mother was first diagnosed, my brother and I immediately thought of stem cell treatment. My brother, Max, has been an athlete most of his life and has more recently become a marathon runner and mountain climber. As a result, he has learned a lot about the generative benefits of Stem cell therapy on athletic injuries.

The more research we did, the more we discovered that Stem Cell therapy is an extremely effective treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis, but it is impossibly expensive and difficult to obtain in the United States. Conventional medical intervention in the United States is to prescribe steroids, anti-inflammatory drugs, and immunosuppressants, which only delay the deterioration of the body and also usually cause harm. Stem Cell Therapy is nonconventional in the sense that the approach is meant to "reset" the immune system so that it stops attacking the body, and it's proven to be effective.

So we sought out international stem cell therapy treatment centers. The closest, and shockingly, most notably recognized stem cell therapy institute is located right across our border, in Tijuana, Mexico. It's called the Cellular Performance Institute.

Ed Clay founded Cellular Performance Institute in search of curing his own mother’s RA. His mother has been in remission from her RA since 2012. Ed Clay and his treatments have been raved about by athletes, including Joe Rogan, all over the world.
The cost of treatment for RA at Cellular Performance institute is $27,000. We are also asking for help with an additional $2,000 to cover my mother’s rent and utility bills for the two weeks she will be receiving treatment. We will not be able to book the treatment until the cost is paid in full, which is why we decided to create a fundraiser to get my mother treated as quickly as possible. In the meantime, she will be medically supervised by her doctor's in Arizona, where she lives.

Thank you for taking the time to read and share. We are so grateful to have such an amazing community of people who support us as a family. Any amount helps.
