In late September our mom was involved in a traumatic incident. She was attacked at her residence in North Dakota. At that time she was taken to a local ED, but had to be flown to Minot where she stayed for ten days and required multiple major surgeries. She was then transferred to a hospital in Michigan where she stayed for another week before she could then be sent to an inpatient rehabilitation facility. Throughout her hospitalization she has had numerous scans, multiple procedures, and has required several physician specialist visits. After three weeks of hospitalization, our mom was discharged to our care. She will continue to need rehabilitation several times a week for months to help with movement and speech. We are hopeful that we can get help for her to pay for the multiple hospital stays, surgeries, procedures, scans, therapy, and in any way possible. We all greatly appreciate everyone's support, kind thoughts, and prayers.
