Anna Canale’s Fight to Win Against Cancer

You’d never know it by meeting Andrew, that he has anything but a care-free life. Andrew always has a smile on his face, is the first one to say good morning and always willing to help where needed.

What you might not know, at what most people don’t, is that on December 26, 2021 Andrew’s life changed forever. His cherished wife, Anna Canale, was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal metastatic cancer. Together with their children Isabella (15), Lilianna (11) and Antonio (6), Andrew and Anna’s life was forced to drastically change. While their family remains positive as their mother and wife has started treatments to curtail this awful diagnoses, they still have a battle before them. Anna is a warrior, as Andrew, describes her and we would like to have her focus on her health and getting better and not having to think about the financial burdens that come along with the fact that she needed to quit her job this past January in order to facilitate her chemotherapy appointments.

 

Andrew Canale, a loyal and dedicated Big Six Towers employee for the past 14 years needs our help! Andrew is a Local 32BJ employee has significant caps on covered medical expenses. If you add to that the additional child care expenses for sitters and transportation to and from treatments, the bills can become voluminous.
