Please help Anna go to Camp Nejeda

On December 19, 2011 my youngest daughter Anna was diagnosed with Sudden Onset Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. She was 11 years old. No one could have ever prepared us for what this disease does to change your life. Every day is a challenge trying to regulate a ruthless, ever changing disease. The first summer of her diagnosis, I found a camp in Stillwater, NJ dedicated to the care, education and healthy development of Type 1 children. A special place just for them, each one knowing the struggle of the other, bonds of friendship developed through their fears....a place for them to feel like they fit in.....a family. This place is called Camp Nejeda. She has attended for two weeks each summer and for those weeks was granted a full campership to do this. This year will not be the case and I need to raise the money myself to make it happen for her in July. I have to raise the tuition and submit it to the camp by May 1st to hold her spot. Last September I required Open Heart Surgery and have been unable to work, but I've submitted a small deposit of $50 to hold her place. From my job loss I have also lost the insurance coverage I had to provide her with her insulin, test strips and needles she needs every day to live. The insurance she has now only pays a fraction of those costs. Camp Nejeda provides, through the donations from the pharmaceutical companies that make insulin supplies, ALL those things for the campers while they are away at camp. They also have fun trips they take while they are being monitored by a full medical team AT ALL TIMES, 24/7. The camp councilors are themselves diabetic and the campers are never without someone with them. It is such a godsend to Type 1 parents that do not sleep. Knowing that they are at a medical camp, supervised by Doctors, nurses and an incredible staff, relieves that worry from our minds.....well just a little. Please help me to help my daughter make camp this summer a reality. Thank you so much for your support.
