Hello, I am Stephanie Olmstead Mother of Annalexis Olmstead.
Anna was born on June 19th, 2012, Since birth she struggled with a kidney problem called "Kidney Reflux". She fought for her life at just two weeks old and she died at Dells Children's Hospital they revived her and brought her back to us after the reflux poisoned her bloodstream causing her to have a Staph infection in her blood along with a horrible UTI, after a whole month of living in the hospital we brought home a healthy baby girl. She had a minimally invasive surgery in 2014 to help her kidney, she gets checked every 6 months. However, at this last check, we were told the noninvasive surgery is not working how it should and she will need the major surgery we tried to avoid. With everything on our plate we need help, if you can help us get her through this much-needed surgery so she doesn't have to lose a kidney it would be a blessing! And it would give her a chance at beating this now so she doesn't have to suffer with this in the long run. Thank you for taking the time to read this it means a lot to our family, and it would mean even more to Anna.
These funds would go towards helping us pay for the initial cost of beginning the procedure.
Anna is a great, thoughtful, caring child. she always talks about how she wants to help people when she gets older, she loves to play with her siblings and ride the motorcycle with her Dad. securing this help will make sure she has a lot more time to focus on becoming better as she grows instead of worrying about being in pain.
Respectfully,
Stephanie & Joe Olmstead
