Annette's Memorial Fund

March 23, 2017  UPDATE - ANNETTE

This is to let everyone know that my sister, Annette, gracefully took her walk to Heaven on Monday, March 6, 2017 . A Memorial Mass will be offered for her at Carmel Mission Basilica on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00am.  At this time, the Domingo and Wilson Families would like to thank Dr. Rubin, Dr. Kehl, the ICU Department and Nursing Staff, the Palliative Care Team at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, her Angel Nurses at Terrace West cancer wing, all the Angel Nurses and Staff at Pacific Cancer Care, and her physical therapy team at Carmel Hills Care Center. She loved you all,  cherished her friendships with you as she fought her battle, and conquered those milestone moments rehabilitating.  No words can be expressed, just so thankful for your love and support!       With deep gratitude - Belyn

Dear Friends and Family - This GoFund was originally set up at the onset of Annette's Lymphoma diagnosis in the Spring of 2015. Annette now faces new health challenges with her Congestive Heart condition. We pray for her continued progress as she tackles new hurdles. Thank you for your power prayers ! we established a new goal from here moving forward.

 April 18, 2016  -  UPDATED MILESTONE.  Thank you for following my "blog" for Annette and staying with us on this continuous journey.....

Annette had a heart procedure today which hopefully will improve her cardiac function. Since her lymphoma diagnosis last May 2015, she has been receiving chemotherapy treatments which finished in January. After taking heart medications for about 6 months, her medical team felt she was not where they wanted her to be with regard to heart function.  She was getting ready for the next step  - - her cardiologist inserted a pacemaker and defibrilator implant....wow, such a miracle procedure. Medical technology is amazing. Well, this is the latest chapter... I will continue to keep you posted along the way..... love you all.

May 2015 - Many of you have met and grown to love my sister, Annette Domingo, known also affectionately as "Netty",  "Fresca",  "Annetteski", Annetty Spaghetti",  "Auntie Annette". Recently on May 28th she received life changing news with a diagnosis of Anaplastic T-Cell Lymphoma, a rare and unusually aggressive form of cancer.  In addition, her oncology team told us that before we could attempt to treat the lymphoma, we had to address a surprise diagnosis of congestive heart failure, revealing a delicate and weak heart condition.
It's been a challenging road since her first day of hospitalization on June 4, 2015.......but with the help of her magnificent cardiology and oncology team, love and support of friends and family, a strong faith and prayers for her from all corners of the world, her heart is slowly getting stronger, and soon she will continue her regimen of chemotherapy. Throughout this, she maintains her positive attitude and her goal is to strengthen her mobility so that she can  get back to  the dance floor, get her groove back,  to beat this double whammy condition with motivation and fierce determination.

Our wish is to help Annette build a savings fund to help us manage her medical bills, as well as the normal, daily cost of living expenses.  Our hearts are so gratefuland with sincere appreciation, thank you, in advance,  of your kindness, it means so much to us.
