Annie Brown Family Relief

Hello everyone. I’m fundraising for my daughter Annie Brown and her family. If you know Annie then you know that she is one of the most generous of people - a true friend that is there when you need anything. Well - Annie now is in GREAT need. She is a wife and mother (of 3 beautiful children). She has worked and struggled for many years to slowly build a hair styling business and is now, due to totally unexpected health issues, at risk of LOSING IT ALL.  Here are a few words from my daughter Annie. 

“I was 10 years old when I decided I wanted to be a hairstylist. I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true. It’s the only part of myself I’ve always known. It’s the part of myself I can always run to when everything else in my life seems uncertain. For that, I’m forever grateful. But now I’m in desperate need of my communities help. 

Getting into this industry I never knew the toll it would take on my body. 15 years of doing what I love and my body is forcing me to take a break. After Exhausting all options, I unfortunately have to have a challenging surgery.

For the next 12 weeks as I recover from shoulder surgery, our family of 5 will be living on one income. Something we don’t know how we will do. I’m devastated, and scared.  

I’ve worked so hard to build a business I’m proud of. Thanks to many of you it’s been made possible. It’s humbling to ask for help, but I am leaning now on my community to help us during this challenging time.”
