Annie Carter Medical Fundraiser

My lovely wife’ Annie aka “Soop”, is happy and positive, in spite of having a serious medical condition which is causing her chronic physical and mental distress. Over many years this has become more extreme, and the only realistic hope of removing the problem would require major bowel surgery.

We, with family help, can raise £11,000, but would need a further £15,000 to avoid an indefinite wait with the greatly overstretched NHS, to whom we owe a huge debt of gratitude for helping her to survive radical cancer surgery two years ago, added to which she still requires on-going treatment.

She has yet to meet two of our great-grandchildren, but after recovery doing so would be top of the list of well deserved treats. This is the first time that we have invited others to help us towards what could be a new beginning, one in which Annie’s quality of life would be greatly enhanced, and for which our gratitude would know no bounds.
