Annie Daniel-Principali 12 year son, Thayne.....

Hello,

I'm setting up this "GoFund Me for the family of Annie Principali in hopes to help her son, Thayne, who is 12 years old.

Thayne's mom, Annie is a Pre-k teacher at a private school in Lakewood. She is the single mother of 2 beautiful, smart and fun-loving kiddos, Makenzie and Thayne. Annie works hard to support her children and like most single parents dos her best in providing for her family. They are a tight unit and enjoy concerts, sports, movies, video games and just laughing when having time spent together.

Recently in early November, Annie noticed Thayne's face looked swollen, looked in his mouth and saw a huge bump, called the dentist the next day and had him seen. They said it was an abscessed tooth and sent them up to another dentist to have a root canal. Two days later and they said it wasn't an abscessed tooth, and needed to see an oral surgeon THAT DAY. Then off to another dentist. (3rd one) They took a CT scan and found the tumor. They did a biopsy that day and waited till after Thanksgiving for the results.

He has 2 "juvenile active ossifying fibroma" and it's very rare for him to have 2.

So they were sent to Denver health and did another CT scan and another biopsy on the other tumor and that's when they found out it was the same thing and he needs surgery.

1st surgery to remove the tumors and 2nd to reconstruct by taking bone from his hip or leg and graphing it to his jaw.

The Upper left tumor is 6cm by 3cm and the bottom left is 1 1/2cm

To hear this as a single mother myself just pulls at the heart, it causes anxiety about your child's well-being and worries about how to balance time, money and a job. Annie will need to take a great deal of time off from her job to assist and guide her son's medical journey with surgeries and healing, This is a long road to recovery. If you can find it in your heart to help support this wonderful little trio, money will benefit them in so many ways in the recovery as well as take much daily financial stress away from this emotional rollercoaster.
