Annika's Mission in Panama

Hello friends and family! :) I hope you are all doing well.

Thank you so much for your consideration in supporting my spiritual journey as a missionary.

At present, I am serving in Panama, Central America. I have been here since July 20th and will continue to serve until December 8th of this year. My team and I have been reaching the isolated islands surrounding Panama to share the gospel, minister to the youth and adults, dig wells to provide clean water for isolated villages, distribute bibles, provide song and dance ministry, and more. We are reaching the islands surrounding the Bocas del Toro region of Panama by boat. Our team also works at the Outpost Panama YWAM base located on Isla Bastimentos. Here, we provide on-site children's ministry where we facilitate team-building games, sing songs and dance, provide biblical-based teachings, do crafts based on the message provided and have meaningful group discussions. We also facilitate a youth program for the teenagers and young adults in the surrounding villages. During this time we dive into how to read the bible and leave room for questions, discussion and fellowship with one another. This ministry is called the "Titus Project". As well, our team facilitates a woman's bible study in the nearby village on Isla Bastimentos, where we have been preparing and conveying messages based off of the book "Following Jesus to Glory" by Grace Evangelical Free Church. Here, we love to join together with the woman of the village and have a time of Spanish worship, then we provide a biblical-based message and a time for questions, discussion and any prayer requests the women have. On-site, we also participate in base projects - whether that be through helping members of the native villages with farming, helping to make room on the property for future farming, harvesting rice, helping with on-site construction and repair-work as well as hospitality on base. As well, our team works with a local church on another island (Isla Colon), where we partner with the pastor there to provide youth and adult ministry. We are hoping to bring the Alpha program in Spanish for the people that attend.

The outreach mission which I am participating in during this time is considered an extended outreach with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). To be able to serve as a missionary in Panama until December, I am in need of your support. Donations of any amount are so appreciated.
