Annual Cat and Kitten Birthday Fundraiser

It’s that time of year again — my birthday and my annual fundraiser to cover costs from the last 7 months of cat and kitten rescue and TNR (trap, neuter, return) projects, which have been nonstop — and expensive! I can’t do this work without your support.

August 8 – eight days from the launch of this fundraiser – is my birthday and it’s a big one. You know, one of the ones where your age shifts from ending in a "9" to ending in a “0”!

Over the course of the next 8 days, you’ll be meeting a number of my rescues – some friendly, some feral, some available for adoption, some that have been TNRd (trap, neuter, return), and some that have found their forever homes. Each day I'll post an update here and on Instagram and Facebook with a different story – and the associated costs. You’ll also hear about the challenges that I face, along with my fellow rescuers, to do this work and what it takes to help our feline friends in Brooklyn specifically, where I live, although feral cats and cat overpopulation are nationwide problems.
