Annual walk and bike ride - Shirebrook to Skegness
Donation protected
It’s almost time for the annual bike ride/walk from Shirebrook to Skegness, organised by Jason Brocklehurst and Andy Mason. The walkers will set off on the 21st August, arriving at The View, Winthorpe on the 24th August, with the riders also completing the bike ride on the 24th August.
The walk/ride this year will be for two charities. Firstly, the neo natal ward at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, who rely heavily on donations in order to purchase new life saving equipment. They have been a great help to many, including 2 of the riders taking part this year when their daughter was born prematurely. The second charity is the Shirebrook Miners Welfare charity, in memory of Mick Kissane. All monies raised for this charity will help towards the Shirebrook Colliery Monument Fund.
If you are able to donate any amount to help the amazing walkers/riders to support these charities, it will be greatly appreciated.
