Back Drop Records(Start Up)

      It all began with a dream. My name is Sergio Velazquez, and I am the CEO of BackDropRecords. Born and raised in Rochester, NY I grew up listening to all types of genres of music, and I understood the effect that it has on our lives.
         At a young age, I began sampling music and carefully crafting my lyrics and musical style into my voice and flow. I knew that I had a story and music was the only true way I could tell it. Two years ago/ In April 2015 I took a leap of faith and decided to create my independent record label.
      Fast forward to the present I am now a college graduate and have created a structure to direct my company on the right path. But with this new direction comes a lot of responsibility, perseverance and not to mention passion.
         When it comes to my business, I want BackDrop Records to give artists a voice and allow them to reveal their real talents. The underground, indie, and all the lyrically satisfying artists are welcomed at BDR. We have a strong-knit team/growing team of individuals that comprise our company from Engineers to Business Consultants to Marketing Coordinators.
         I want my team to have a platform to build and grow, to further develop our creativity into something greater. My vision for BackDropRecords extends farther than now as I plan to extend into the areas of production and radio/other niche markets.
           We intend to expand in the future, and I guarantee that we will make progress. We are working to build a brand and make a name for ourselves. Please donate and support Back Drop Records. We have the drive to take our business to the next level, help us take that first step.
