Lucky 13th Surgery for Susan...More Bills

Hi, I am one of Susan Rostkowski's oldest friends, Tricia Nault. Susan is living with STAGE IV Metastatic Breast Cancer and needs some financial help for the next phase of her medical journey. Read on for a message from Susan and her husband Greg:

 

Hello friends and family,

It has come to the point in our journey that we are reluctantly reaching out to our community for assistance. Susan has been in and out of surgery and in and out of recovery so many times over the past three years that the medical bills have just been piling up. Susan has been trying to work more to help pay bills, but with the unpredictable side-effects from medication, the amount she has worked is not making a dent. She also has a side gig to help pay bills, but unfortunately, the sales have declined significantly since 2021. Susan has researched and applied for financial assistance and has received the same response, "you make too much money." She has just recently received a one-time monitory gift from Susan G Koman, which will help, but is not enough.

 

Susan will be having another surgery May 23, which will keep her from work again for 6-8 weeks! Quality of life is truly the focus right now, and while we could sell our camper that we worked so hard to purchase, we want to be able to celebrate Susan's good days by doing what we love, camping.

 

If you want to offer your financial support, we would graciously and humbly appreciate it. We will use your financial assistance to maintain our current mortgage and car payments and address the bills that have gone to collections. If there is enough leftover, we will apply it to the upcoming medical bills this surgery is sure to create.
