Education Fund

For 36 years Donna Messina Armogida ran the General Hospital Make up and Hair Department. From there she was able to give numerous hair and make-up people their start in the business, while making it a sanctuary for generations of General Hospital cast members through her undeniable warmth, generosity and authenticity. Donna was our friend, sister, confidante, defender and biggest fan.

As important as she made everyone around her feel, we knew that nothing was more important to her than her three sons: Nick, Antonio and Vito. Their happiness was paramount to her. She felt one of the avenues to achieving that was to give them a good education. Donna was working to fulfill that goal, but sadly her life was unexpectedly cut short.

Daryl Messina, Catherine Davison, Jane Elliot, and Nancy Lee Grahn (Donna's brother, co-workers and friends) have gotten together to create this education fund to help complete her goal. Daryl Messina will administrate the funds out of an account created expressly for tuition and books.
