Help Sophie beat cancer!

My name is Sophie. On June 9th, 2022, I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma; I am 21 years old. The chances of me having this cancer is 1 in a million as it is extremely rare for my race, gender and age. My treatment plan consists of six rounds of chemotherapy followed by seven weeks of concurrent chemotherapy and radiation. Currently, I have finished six rounds of chemotherapy.
No one could have prepared me and the people closest to me for the physical and mental toll cancer would have on us. It has already been the most brutal battle I’ve ever faced, and the challenges that lie ahead will be even more difficult. Due to the toxicity of chemo drugs, the doctors warned me that I might lose my fertility, and I decided to undergo IVF before starting treatment.
Being sick is expensive. IVF, multiple trips to the hospital in many different cities, imaging, anti-medics, and other support tools, rapidly accumulated my costs. I am a full-time student in my last year of University, and I had to quit my job because I was unable to work. The next stage of treatment will require me to move to another city for three months.
Cancer comes with pain and suffering and many emotional burdens. Not having to think so much about my finances would alleviate one of those burdens. Thank you for your contribution!!
