Anthony & Angelina’s Medical Bills

On the afternoon of March 6th, my brother Anthony and his wife Angelina Hytrek were in a serious car accident near 132nd & Dodge in Omaha, NE. They were rushed to the trauma center at Bergen Mercy Hospital where they accrued thousands of dollars in medical bills. They have a long road to recovery ahead of them and need financial support to help them afford treatment.

My brother had already been off work for nearly a month prior after catching COVID and getting diagnosed with lung problems that slowed his recovery, making the hospital costs even more challenging. He had just gotten back to work full time when the accident happened. Angelina has also not been able to work since the crash; meanwhile, they are supporting two children while still healing and undergoing treatment. Additionally, their only vehicle was totaled in the wreck, meaning they have to pay for rides to and from the hospital, the store, etc.

Angelina in particular was severely injured in the crash. She has had to undergo multiple costly scans and tests, and spent days in the hospital. She has had internal bleeding, and her spleen is swelling, causing immense pain anytime she moves. Her arm was injured and has been getting worse, to the point where she can hardly move it. She still needs reconstructive surgery to repair her nose, as well as speech therapy. Both Anthony & Angelina have many medical visits, procedures, and tests still ahead of them.

 

We are incredibly grateful that Anthony & Angelina were able to receive medical treatment after they were involved in a serious car accident on March 6th. However, they are unable to work and still must support two children, and have lost their only vehicle. They need financial support in order to help afford the myriad of medical treatments and visits required for them to heal.
