Hello!! My name is Alicia! I am Anthony AKA (Tony) (Debo) Creech's sister. My little brother is 30 years old soon to be 31. Friday day morning he went into cardiac arrest. He had to have CPR and was transfered to New Hanover hospital. He is in ICU and is in Critical condition. He had to be put into a drug induced coma and is going to be that way for the next 48 hours at least. They have no answer at the moment why he went into cardiac arrest. The only reason they can think of at the moment is that he has a congenital heart defect that no one was aware of, but they can't do these test until they get him out of the coma. All the blood work and testing that they have been able to do have come back fine. They also can't do any cardiac testing until they do neurological testing. The neurological testing is because he did suffer a brain injury due to the lack of oxygen to his brain. We also don't know much about the injury to the brain at the moment because of the coma They have him in. He is in a core cool down to try recharge the brain. This process is a 72 hour process. We have 12hrs left of this. Once this process is done they will hold him at normal body temperature for 24hrs before they will start to pull him out of the coma. I am asking for any help possible. He might be mad at me for this. My brother is a hard worker and self employed. He will be out of work for weeks if not months. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you can't help with Money I just ask that you pray he pulls out of this.
