Anthony Orlandi

My dad, Anthony Drake Orlandi (64yo) was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 101 in San Mateo, California on Monday, April 8th at 1:30 am while attempting to cross the freeway on foot. He was flying from Oregon to Hawaii with a connecting flight in San Mateo. Tony was my dad, well, for most of my life he was just my father. He had recently been living in Oregon with my grandma when he had arranged to fly back to Hawaii (where he had lived for a better portion of my life). We were just getting close, having more frequent phone calls and even having our first Facetime call a month ago. We were just starting to get to know each other... I wish I knew why he wasn't just in the airport. Why was he walking on the highway in the middle of the night?? I had and still have many unanswered questions about my dad and his life.

As his only Son, I am now facing the hard reality of having to finance his immediate cremation in a state that I am not in, nor am I familiar with. My goal is to raise $1,600 with $1,200 being used for his direct cremation services, and the other $400 to pay for transportation fees regarding his cremains.
