Anthony “Bubs” Pierson Recovery Fund

On Thursday, July 20, 2023 at approximately 2am, Anthony “Bubs” Pierson was walking home from the Ukrainian Club in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. When Bubs approached the intersection of 23rd and Aspen Streets, 2-3 men jumped out of a car and attempted to rob him at gunpoint. Bubs was pistol-whipped in his head multiple times, before being shot in the right side of his abdomen. A Philadelphia Police Officer quickly transported Bubs to the hospital, where doctors immediately began surgery. Thankfully, the doctors were able to remove the bullet from Bubs's abdomen, and his surgery was an overall success. But, it's going to be a long road to recovery, and we'd like to help Bubs in any way that we can.

All money raised here will be given to Bubs for his immediate and longer-term financial needs, as he will be unable to work for a currently unknown period of time.
