Anthony Rojas lung transplant
Donation protected
We want to wish everyone a happy merry Christmas and happy new year ! . Thanks to everyone for always helping Anthony and the family as well . We will always be greatfull with all the love and support we have received.
Finally Going Home !!!!!
It always seems impossible until it’s done. We are finally taking Anthony home to be reunited once again. Over the years it has been a challenge to juggle our lives to be there for Anthony during these trying times. Through his hard
work, perseverance and strong belief it's made possible. As we are coming to close to discharge, it only creates a new set of challenges. In order to have him home in our new house and create as close to a normal life as possible, the medical equipment required is very costly and insurance will not cover it such as a portable oxygen , generator and etc . Any donation will be greatly appreciated as we continue our journey with Anthony only this time at home!! Thank
you .
UPDATE ——-UPDATE— UPDATE —-UPDATE———————————————————————-
Anthony is a four-year-old boy with a lot of energy and a contagious laugh. He was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis Obliterans, an inflammatory condition that affects the lung’s tiniest airways, the bronchioles. This condition has caused extensive scarring in both his lungs and Anthony now is dependent of supplemental oxygen, and he is now required to wear nasal canula at all times as well as the BIpap when he receives his therapies. His childhood has changed in many ways but Anthony cherishes and enjoys each day that he gets.
He is now receiving weekly steroids and a intensive Infussion medication once a month to help suppress his immune system . Anthony has shown all of us that he is a strong and brave kid. God has given us the strength to keep going through this with Anthony. He continues to be positive and motivated and has a contagious smile. On any given day you can find him smiling and laughing. He loves to make people smile and forgetting about himself sometimes.
Anthony is on the waiting list for a lung transplant at Children Hospital of Philadelphia. The team at CHOP has been amazing and we are very greatfull for all that they have done for us, as well as for St. Mary’s Hospital for Children where Anthony currently is living now and Cohens children medical center, from where Anthony was referred. They have all come together to make Anthony’s life a little more pleasant.
Anthony has a little 2 year brother Dylan who he can’t even play with because of his tolerance level of respiration . Most of the time he will reject playing with his brother because he knows he can’t be as active as he use to be ... He can’t play too much , or run around like a 4 year old can because of his tolerance level .Most of the time you will see him in a wheel chair .
As a parents it has been really hard to divided your self into two , Anthony that need our support . strength , love and courage that he can face any problem versa his brother that all he want is attention and love ...
With these donation it will help us Pay Anthony coverage . We the family is and always will be thankful with what he get .
