Anthony “Tony” McConkey Medical Bills
Donation protected
First let me start with telling you a little bit about Tony. To know Tony is to love him. He will do anything for anyone. Tony has a deep love for family, especially his grandchildren. Tony is an die hard Yankees fan, he enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle, he has a passion for cooking and everything he makes is delicious. If you know Tony you would know that he is not one to ask for help, unfortunately I feel we have reached that position, with Tony only being at home 3 weeks since July.
Tony has been hospitalized off and on since July 2022. In July Tony suffered a heart attack, he was hospitalized for 2 weeks with that then sent home for a week. One short week after that Tony had 3 strokes, and was hospitalized again. Being transferred between multiple hospitals. While trying to recover from both of those medical issues Tony was also diagnosed with bladder cancer. Tony underwent a procedure to remove the tumor in his bladder, which was unsuccessful. Tony has been waiting for almost 2 months to be transferred to Syracuse to have his bladder fully removed. Currently Tony has been hospitalized for 40 consecutive days. He is too weak to undergo the surgery needed for his bladder cancer. Tony has been trying to get therapy for the heart attack and strokes to gain enough strength to have his surgery, but at this point he is too weak. He is unable to even sit up or stand on his own. There is a very long road ahead for him to get to full recovery. Please consider donating to help with medical expenses and everyday bills that continue to grow.
