On April 12th, Easter Sunday, Anthony “Tony” Thomas passed away due to complications of COVID-19. Tony’s death shocked the NYC First Responder Community, as he was a friend to everyone he met. A kind, gentle soul, those that knew Tony can tell you he would give you the shirt off his back. Now, in lieu of flowers, we ask you to consider donating to this GoFundMe to help support the daughter he left behind.
In these unusual times, we are unable to provide a fitting funeral for a man so devoted to serving New York. In its place, we are putting together funds to give to the family, a gesture of our condolences to help them through these tough times.
