Anthony Trotter- (UWS) Fire Recovery Fund

Donation protected

On May 7th, 2020 around 4pm while finishing up my work day I began to smell smoke in my apartment and then came to sudden realization that my apartment building was on fire(3-alarm fire). As the smoke engulfed my apartment I realized I didn’t have time to gather my valuables and would need to immediately get out of there, my cat was rescue by a fire fighter. My apartment and all my personal possessions were completely destroyed by the smoke, flames, water, and fire fighter demolition.

The Red Cross was generous enough to put me in a hotel for 3 nights but as you all know, that’s not enough time for a person to get back on their feet following complete devastation.

I now find myself without stable shelter, clothes, toiletries, and all the basic necessities a person needs to live day by day in New York City.

I am reaching out to my community to ask for help in anyway possible.

The funds I raise will assist me with obtaining permanent housing, clothing, shoes, furniture, bedding, kitchenware, etc.

In this uncertain time, I know many people are facing their own hardships and I am extremely grateful for any amount you are able to donate.
